about

The famous El Cobre Copper mine in Cuba was 12 miles up into the hills from the nearest Port - transporting all the ore and equipment was laborious and before they built a rail line camels were imported from the Canaries to work as pack animals. Many Cornishmen worked there.

about

Graham Gynn England, UK

Early solo releases (Backyard Assembly and Articulos) stem from free improvisation with the Tyneside New Music Group. Middle period (Islands, Macawcus & Ravenstone) combine sounds from the natural world with acoustic compositions. The 2000's went Latin playing cuatro with the bands Rumba Diabla and Quijada. Mingalar Ba Bus moves back towards jazz.
