about

My first release (1979) stems from my involvement with the Tyneside New Music Collective which promoted and played free improvised 'jazz'. Eight home assembly pieces for a variety of instruments, some home made like the bufo, including clarinet, guitars, viola, erhu and peddle harmonium recorded on a sound on sound reel to reel recorder. Charles Fox, the BBC jazz on 3 radio presenter said he liked the separation achieved on such basic equipment. All proceeds from any sales will go to Rainforest Conservation Projects

about

Graham Gynn England, UK

Early solo releases (Backyard Assembly and Articulos) stem from free improvisation with the Tyneside New Music Group. Middle period (Islands, Macawcus & Ravenstone) combine sounds from the natural world with acoustic compositions. The 2000's went Latin playing cuatro with the bands Rumba Diabla and Quijada. Mingalar Ba Bus moves back towards jazz.
